Memorable Quotes

A couple of years ago I started writing down quotes, sentences, sayings, or just words that I felt were moving. Topics ranging from love to economics and war, certain lines and words stuck with me. These quotes have influenced my thinking, challenged my thoughts and beliefs, and clarified my mind -to say the least.

I had chosen to leave, and live alone in a foreign country, cultural, language, religion, etc. And in fleeing thousands of miles across the Pacific, I chose myself, and a chance at a different future. A chance to break ancestral trauma and change history. - Ellie 2018
